My memory is a bit foggy, but as I remember it you can team, but each member of the team must carry a green hack code. Only the team leader’s hack code will be used up, but to pass the electrical gate you must carry a hack code. Boss Mob: Malware Kong! (wiki)
From observation I understand there is a side instance that you can access if you carry a Mindkey where uber UL armor and other goodies hide.
